The Bosch 2608598126 Adapter is fitted between a compatible drilling machine and a G 1/2-inch threaded diamond core cutter. Its machine-side connection uses a 1/2"-20 UNF thread, while the cutter side accepts compatible G 1/2-inch crowns.

This product is an adapter rather than a centre drill or pilot bit. It changes the connection type only and does not increase the drilling machine’s power, maximum drilling diameter, or approved material range.

It is not directly compatible with the Bosch GSB 162-2 RE or GDB 180 WE because these machines use different spindle threads. The Bosch GCR 180 is a drill stand and does not connect directly to the adapter.
